1gb storage (which means basically you've got your messages forever)
Unlimited upload size (or maybe 100mb limit but that's HUGE)

It's got Great spam filtering and free pop/smtp access. So you can setup outlook to download the gmail messages as you wouild your normal ISP's email.

I've probable got a few if you guys run out.

Ive heard that Gmail is much bigger storgage etc, but that it also has a few privacy issues...

I read up a bit on them and decided against getting one of those emails....

Where did you hear that neko?
It's so much better for privacy. As I said earlier, I've yet to receive ANY spam mail and I've had for it about half a year now.
The maximum upload size is unlimited and you have 1gb storage space.

Hotmail
Storage: 250mb
Max. Upload size: 10mb
Spam: 10 e-mails per day


Google
Storage: 1000mb
Max. Upload size: Unlimited
Spam: None as of yet.

You can see why it's so important to have competition. Microsoft's Storage used to be 2mb and max upload size 1mb.

Spam is only the amount you give your details out
if tools using shit like the "tickle" network, put in your email when they sign up to "refer friends" then you going to get spam..

ive changed multiple email adresses because of my mates just doing this, its irritating..
