Happy Chinese New Year indeed. One of the partners in the accountancy firm I work for is Chinese. So today we went for some Yum Cha at The Palace restaurant to celebrate, we all got red envelopes with 2 2 dollar scratchies and a one dollar one. Good food good time and got and got an extra long luch break.
LOve the new job, in two weeks I've been out to lunch twice already and cos I'm new they don't have much work for me to do so I can bludge out on toymods for most of the day, only viewing though I won't post from work.

not too sure on the history of this but vietnam and china both use the same lunar calender which share other common event such as moon festival, full moon on 15th each month etc...

who cares, if you happen to be in haymarket then happy chinese new yrs
if you drop by cabra, its happy vietnamese new yrs
either way, have fun and best wishes to everyone Smile
