Celsior I looked at Thu, 10 February 2005 00:08 Go to next message
Heyas, looked at a celsior for sale today, but it didnt have all the electric novelty options in the rear arm rest and it was missing some of the other options like programmable seats etc.

I have looked at quite a few in the last couple of months and this is the first I have seen without these options, besides the locally imported LS400's.

Anyone else come across one of these? is this like a ghetto pack celsior or somethin?

Hey Dust...I notice you are in Brisbane too...whereabouts have you been looking at them? There's a few advertised but not that many.

Thanks,
Matt

guys - jump in quick with the importing companies cos AFAIK you can still inport a 15 yr old car until the law changes in the next couple of weeks.

Just find yourself the top spec model and import it yourself!

Yeah I have been looking, I told a certain import place that I was interested in one car then they came back to me and said it was actually 85,000 yen more then what it said on the site lol.

Guess everyone needs to cash in.

So many duds out there, ugh.

Dynomatt I have just been lookin at import yards and in all the papers, car selling sites and stuff, so many dodgy ppl. I am just about to make a deposit on one from j-spec.

I am getting one because I want a 4 door car that isnt gutless as hell, has lots of room for the new family, is RWD and isnt a falcon or a commodore, what other choice is there really?

Plus the VIP Celsiors are just sexy and I miss owning a V8 Smile

What sort of increase, if any, do ppl think that the Celsiors currently in Aus will experience? Maybe I should import 2, haha Smile

Nope, dont know my way around stafford to check out the car yards, but think I looked at one at sandgate or near there, was a pos. Looked at like 4 down the coast, 1 wasnt too bad but it didnt have all the extra electric stuff and was a bit over priced for what it was.

Rob, well if all goes well that will be mine in a few weeks/months.

Skip, yeah it does look a bit shitty from the back, I am not overly keen on red either but somethin painted a different colour here and there to break up the red should make it better.
Thinkin different tail lights too.

My wife will be driving it more then me anyway, she likes red, lol.
