HKS Cam Gear
lots of pretty Stainless piping (intake, cooler, rad pipe ect)
and more to be done in the next two weeks if the $$$ is available.

Im gonna take the landy down the strip again in the next couple of weeks for some torture. Complete with non slipping clutch, modified shifter (shortened throw) with new bushes and 30 more rwhp so i should be able to give the 13's a tickle . Should be able to take off in 2nd now so hopefully this will also improve the times

Yeah I have a bit. Gotta leave the line at around 6000 - 7000rpm and keep slipping it a little. Just dumping it does not work to well.
First is a bitch, you rev it to 6000 or 7000 dump the clutch front end comes up and then you gotta change into second straight away. Im pretty sure im changing already at the 60ft mark. 4.3:1 ratio first gear is a major biatch!! If I had R154 ratios im pretty sure the car would have already done a 13s pass

Good luck with 13's Skip! Tell me when after you have made another run as you are on the bump spot now
JCMF: The higher mph obviously means that Donnan's car was making more power but as Kristian's car actually went quicker, I would say that Kristian's car is a better sorted machine even with the coil pack issue.

id just say that donnon had WAY too much power to get an effective launch and it fucked his time

The list that we have is made up of street cars. All of the really hardcore guys I have seen use 2jz's not 1jz's which makes sense if money is plentiful.
BTW we have an 8.5 second 2jz race car
and a 9.88 second race/street car.

yeah.... HYP077 has a 1j and has run 11.2
toy 77t (my car) has a 1g.
on another note..... these times are not really that impresive when you consider how good the 1j are supposed to be and how easily the power is able to got out of them.
if you were to add 1g's into that list.... alot of those cars would get pushed out.
i'm just tryin to stir up a few of you guys to get serious and stretch some limits...

Damn you!
Youve knocked me off the list! Well done but.
I forgot to update myself, i went down to the drags last week but couldnt go any quicker my 60ft times went up from 2 - 2.2 seconds i seemed to be getting more wheelspin. Was tempted to put it in 4WD but the front end of the car seems to get dragged around everywhere like that I didnt fancy a meeting with the wall.
Will have to go down again and up the boost from 14 - 17psi
Problem is they said they wont let me run again cause my crank centreline is more than 600mm above the ground

Softest suspension setting will not necesarily result in the best launch on IRS cars, you will find a little more traction with a firmer setting as it will help maintain the maximum contact patch with the road.
Seriously quick IRS skylines are actually using steel bars to replace shock absorbers to lock geometry at zero deg camber at the rear.
