once again i am in need of information from all you peoples out there. :P:P
i have a ae92 seca and its a csi, these models came without a tacho in the dash..which is bullshit in a manual car but anyway, if i was to purchase the tacho (whole dash) from a wrecker or something would it connect straight up? its the same size and etc but it has a tacho...!!
any information would be greatly appreciated thanx...

The CS non-tacho and CS-X tacho dashes are a straight swap
However i'm not sure about the CSi since you'd need a dash which also incorporates the engine/efi check light. You would probably need a cluster out of a later model AE92, something which had EFI and a tacho.
Or just upgrade to an SX dash, the coversion has been covered here a few times

Are you talkin about an ae92 csi? Well I went through the same ordeal a year or so ago. I couldn't find an SX cluster so I went with one that had a tacho. I'm not sure what car it was from cause I have yet to see another ae92 with the same cluster. But it came complete with the annoying speed chime when u hit 105 km/hr.
Anyway they are not plug and play !! Read on the forums that they would be... but spent the whole weekend taking apart the cluster and tracing wires from the old cluster to the new.
All I gotta say is what a headf*ck ! And good luck !

I've got the same problem but I've got an AE82 CS and want to put in the rpm tacho from an AE82 CS-X. At least now I know you need to buy the whole dash
