I have an sacf 2 and installing it on my 1g-gte.
When I run the motor the revs read at half what they should be. I have set it to 6 cylender. There are 2 rpm wires on the wiring diagram but im only using rpm1. Do I need to wire rpm2 into it somehow?

What connections does it say you have to make, and where are you getting them from?

Here's a quote from my SAFC manual:

"A'PEXi Japan wrote in Fr3aK's SAFC manual"

In the case of the plural connection, connect to engine RPM signal 2

Bascially forget about the RPM 1 wire, and just hook it upto the RPM 2 wire.

See if that works.

The rpm signal two wire is only connected on some models . From memory its only rb26dett , plural i think they mean spilt coil pulses to ecu . Theres something in the manual about that .
I have seen this problem before , you might need to press the next button a few time to safe your changes . Sometimes it doesn't save the setting first time Crying or Very Sad

i think the duel stuff it talks about for rb26 is for the air flow meter being duel, might be wrong though.
Do you mean make sure it is save to 6 cyl? it definatly is

it won't idle very well which i guess is to do with the rpm being wrong.

The duel thingy is for the twin AFM's on GTR's.

Have you tried putting the rpm wire into ECU RPM 2 location yet?

If in doubt; talk to a professional!
