there are many excellent sites on building boxes around the net.. you can calculate sizes for whichever frequencies etc etc... different bandpass stuff...
anyway, just google for "ported sub box frequency" or similar

hmmm, well iv built a few boxes and honestly its
not really worth it unless you are after perfection
and a fair bit of time and money. there are many box
design programs (recommended) where you enter in various
specs and it will calculate a box for you - if
you want a competition system. for a bit of cruising
doof doof just go and buy a twin 12 box (>16mm mdf,
carpeted, holes cut, sealed, connections) for about
$120 or so

Send us a link to the T&S parameters of your subs and I'll send you back a set of box plans calculated in Bass box pro.

i dont think this is what you are after, but using two 12s you could utilise a sealed isobaric setup.

Mine cost about $40 to make. But it did take some time.
You get what you pay for?
Good luck fella, may you have many years of doof, doof, doofing.
