G'day,
I have a 4AFE in my 94 Seca and was wondering if anyone has heard of fitting the SC12 supercharger to it.
If so, is there much stuffing around to go with it.
I spose a problem is if the 4AFE and 4AG(Z)E inlets are similar or not.
ANY help would be appreciated.
and NO i dont wanna hear just buy a ZE or 20v... cheers guys

ist the 4afe neerly exactly the same as the 4age exept its inlet ports are at a much less angle than the ge? if this was the case all you would need would be the charger setup off a 4agze and to relocate your alternator

yeah im looking at doing the same thing on my 96 seca with 4afe. i dunno if its as simple as just mounting it on, or its a bit harder and might have to get another engine. i also heard that 4afe head's arent strong enough to support much boost. but that could be bullshit

I'd be worried about the internals as a whole if you plan on running a lot of boost. Any particular reason for not doing an engine swap?

Yeah the 4AFE isnt really strong once compared to the 4AGE then the 4AGZE... with stonger crank, coated pistons etc...
My FE has only done 99000kms so its a bit of a waste to get rid of it... mite get a blower tho
Only run standard boost tho... should be ok
