rear mounted battery - SUCCESS! Thu, 24 February 2005 11:39 Go to next message
well im going to freely admit to be a total electrical novice - but some how - ive managed to get a complete , approved , and running without any dramas rear mounted battery setup in my gt4 ..

A week of after work labour - and lots of headscratching has finally come to resuots today - she kicked over - first time with the relocated batteys - with NO FIRES OR SMOKE!, which is always a good thing

Now ive got a huge amount of space in the once evilest of evil engine bays for more bling fun - next step - frontmount piping , and straight air intake !!

* pics and how to of conversion , to come - as soon as i stop gloating and back patting myself , and get my pics off the camera! *

I'm definitely keen on seeing pics, especially of how you connected your usual stuff to the big wiring going through the car. Did you make some sort of psuedo terminal, or just join the whole lot together. Also, did you run both positive and negative through the car, or just positive?
