Have to disagreee. White on the red looks better. Silver can look flat after a while or just like a factory finish.

how often do you plan on washing your wheels?
white will need cleaning more often than the silver

wow thanx everyone for the replies

I'm pretty fixed on white i think...
I wish there was an easy way to remove the wheels hahaha they take ages to undo all the nuts and redo em.. grrr...

I was gonna use a etch primer and then spray em with some decent enamal paint that u can get from the stores.. i think its POWERPLUS that make the spray cans... I'm wondering which WHITE to go for though...

Something thats not with a cream or anything..
Just a real rich white!!!

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO.

N O !

Enamel just doesn't cut it dude. Spend the extra on 2pac (insert dead rapper joke here) and get it bake-hardened. I painted my kart-trailer with Enamel, used etch-primer, and put the hardener in - and still the stone-chips amass. Just don't do it TRD - you'll never get a top finish on it with Enamel either.

Consider dark semi-metallic gunmetal/charcoal for ease of cleanliness.

Yep, go the white, seeing as they're rally rims & as Stu said, get them powdercoated. Hard as anything & shouldn't chip (except if you kerb the bastards Evil or Very Mad )

& whats wrong with OZ racing decals (escpecially if that's what they are) get the full rally look... Laughing

I bought these rims Cheap and I wanted to keep them a cheap price... I'm sure they can be filled with something,
By the time i stay welding them and gettin them painted they will become quite an expensive purchase, and i'm not gonna learn a thing about painting if i don't give it a go, so i don't mind i wanna try it myself!!!

So any advice about procedures would be great if possible...

Thanx

Either buddy clubs or volks (or similar)
About $1500AUD plus freight (or more)
Japan, or some aussie dealers, or 2nd hand importers
Most likely yes.

And WHITE

G-Max just started importing something similar, but only in 17" - and I'm not sure about stud patterns or offsets. It's number is H-050, and usually has a sticker:

RS-GT on one spoke. I believe they're around $1200-$1400 per set. Bronze-only at the moment, afaik.

http://www.autojoy.com.au/product/img/alloy_wheel/gmax/h050.jpghttp://magsandtyres.shopnz.biz/catalog/images/prodimg/img1-142.jpg

The wheel I posted is the one I'm importing for my (boy-racer) white R33 GTS-T.

You can't have any, I'm going to be the only person in the country to have a set. I'm not telling you anything about them, so nerrrrrr.... Cool

A-tech FinalSpeed. Japan only. White (15" only), Bronze or "Silvermetal".
http://www.esses.us/image/prod/mid/fswh5.jpg

This site also lists buddy-club ripoffs and other wheels: http://www.esses.us/smw/smw.htm

A-Tech's site: http://www.marukanet.co.jp/a-tech/index.html

The CAST Finalspeed 17x8's list on Yahoo Japan Auctions at around 60 thousand Yen (used with good tyres) up to around 75 thousand Yen new, no tyres.

Aus $1000 is around jap Y79,000 at the moment I think.
