lets see..
my rebuild consisted of:

Rebore and hone: $90
resize 4 conrods: $60
Crank Grind: $109
Engind kit (pistons, bearings, etc): $449

I also got a copper head gasket ($125)

(I also have a spare 'normal' head gasket, I could sell for $50)

no idea on turbo prices etcetc..

W55 seems good. I have a J160 on mine.

Costs (if you go for forged pistons with full floating gudgeon pins ) will add up to pretty close to 3K.

As for rebuilding the CT20 - I wouldn't. You could have it hi-flowed (which includes new bushes for not much more).

setsuna - the prices that you have quoted all seem to be pretty good - how much oversize did you go when you had it bored? and where did you get a 3T GTE engine kit for $449?

The prices that I get are
Bore and hone (up to 1mm OS)- $30 per hole
Rod resizing - $30 each
Fitting bronze guides (for full floating pins) - $35 ea
Gaskets
Bearings
Extras - O ring head (if you're going that way)
Paying someone to build it.

my ct20 cost 650 for a rebuild and hi flow. better of buying a ct26 secondhand for about 300 or a good seondhand ct20. keeps costs down a bit during build. id also recommend forged pistons if you plan on working the engine.
