Just watched this movie on channel 10. They should make a new version of this with a MAC truck and beefed up Supra, staring some random guy and, I donno, Kate Beckinsale.
Supra busting out drifts, hauling ass down the highway and running from the police, sounds sweet to me.

I love that movie... I was stoked when I saw it was on TV last night. I can't remember her name but DAYUM that chick is fine in that movie. Cool driving as well. Not crap fake stunts and shit.

Yeah I watched it last night too - haven't seen it since I was a kid!
The driving was pretty cool, but in some scenes it was obvious that the film was sped up which detracted from it a bit - always looks unrealistic! Oh well it WAS 1977 after all, guess I can forgive that. Knight Rider used to do it a lot too (when Turbo Boost was pressed!)

Maybe throw in a couple of Honda's with green neons too. 
Its a damn good movie, and it should be left in the 70's (80's??)
I've had it on DVD for about a year, and I'm waiting for nubmer 2 and 3 to come out

that was great last night, flicking on the tv to find that it was on, the best!!
