If your '86 'rona is a ST141 or ST142, and not a jap import Corona then according to the Whiteline catelogue, I would say yes.

I can't give you a quantity as to how much it affects your handling other than to say that it greatly improves your handling and greatly reduces your body roll at the front, as well as significantly reducing the amount of understeer that Toyota dials into its cars as a matter of safety, from the standard as per factory level.
