hey guys i just pulled the roker cover offmy almosr dead 2tg and the cams say 88262 which matches the type of head i have. but the last number ( the 2 ) is stamped with a cross and a one is stamped next to it. what does this mean???? and i found how bad my timing chain was. it was loose enough in certain spots of revolution to hit the rocker cover.  ohwell glad to have a new engine. lol

the one on my engine is brand spanking new, guides are flawless too...
the +1 should just be something almost non-existant... (+1 degree duration..) but it could also mean that its made from different material for all i know :/
anyway, gotta cruise (sorry about the gloating  )

Anybody know what the duration and timing is for these 2TG cams?
I want to compare with my 3T-GTEU ones...

pretty sure the 262's had the smallest cams in terms of duration, they also had asymetrical combustion chambers. dunno about your numbers though, sorry. my 260 doesnt have them if thats any help.
