dudes, you'll have to find someone who can gas it up using the old gas.........the new "gas" is that r134a shite - as such i don't know if the old compressors will handle it (i think they do)

The old gas "R12" is very bad for the atmosphere etc and AFAIK the old compresors dont like the new gas.

Dodgy but effective.. The old gas can get as cold as 3 degrees by memory and the new gas can only get to 8 degrees..
