feral road trip

i am on a roadtrip in the feral back to WA this month. i left Bundy on yesterday (monday), in Brissie at the moment and am passing through Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide on my way to Esperance down the south of WA (where all my relatives are) plus i'll be calling into many other places to catch up with fellow aw11 owners. gotta zip up to Perth too, through Bunbury (best catch up with my old man, havnt seen him since '93).
all up i estimate about a 9000k return trip, i think the feral is up to it. 
i got me a months supply of medication, a few clothes, my tent/sleeping bag and spare tyre on a ghetto rack i made for the rear end.
of course ya gotta give your mum a hug before you go.
going to post pics of the aw11's of the owners i meet on here, so stay tuned if your interested. 
first person i caught up with was Ryan from Coolum beach with his white s/c yesterday.

good luck dude should be a swet trip.
I did melbourne through as north as Noosa in my sw20 and all i took was a litre of oil in case she needed a top up.
didn't miss a beat but did get a cracked windscreen.
maybe do as i did and get premium RACV or equivalent covber for towing and accomodation etc in case of a problem

well today i had Justin and Marty come around to where i am staying in Brisbane. both are 4age 'at the moment'.
Justin has made himself some cool side scoops with a very interesting and effective ducting for the air filter.
and Marty's, which has a nice system with a 10" behind the pass seat.
tomorow off to see superaw11 dude.

If you ever decide to throw em out fat i can be there to catch them. I do agree that i kinda like having n/a lights unsuspecting people at traffic lights tend to not take too much notice until your a couple of car legnths infront

Feral I can't believe you left without saying by. Surely your first port of call would have been your own town.
Oh well, I'll just have to compile a list of things for you to do when you gat back that's all.
1. FINISH MY STEREO
2. Fix my head gasket
3. Fix my idler pulley
4. Put my knew water pump on
That should kepp you going for a while at least.
Any way have a safe trip and take lots of pics for me to look at when you gat back. We'll just have to have a meet then.

superaw11's car was prestine (<spelling?) a really neat example. it was good to meet you Neil and i'll let you know for sure if i pass back through that way.
in Newcastle at the moment in a internet cafe (did a shit load of walking to find it). grrr
i'm cruising through this place in the feral, trying to get myself lost (i'm good at that) and next moment this dude yells at me and it's old-mr2 dude next to me so we pulled over and had a chat and took some happy snaps.
i'll post the pics when i find a computer i can hook my camera into.
Cakey, i did come into town before i left. but you where at work and i wanted to get going. dont be a girl.

I HAVE SEEN THE FERAL IN THE FLESH ill sleep well tonite!
I was driving down hunter street and i saw it up ahead. I had two minutes to get to work but i thought fark that and gave chase. Got up next to john gave him a hell yeah and we pulled over for a quick chat.
John took some photos of our two's hopefully he'll post them up soon.
I got to work 30 minutes late. Oh well. They believed my 'ran out of petrol story' haha suckers. If only they shared my love for the 2.
