EOI: AE92 SX Hatch w GZE Conversion Mon, 07 March 2005 13:46 Go to next message
Alright, just testing the waters as i consider selling my daily driver in favour of a larger car.

Here are the specs:

Body
1991 AE92 SX Hatch, White
- Minimal rust, some slight damage on a 1/4 panel (front passenger) due to someone reversing into me. Going to fix.
- Colour coded mirrors.
SX Front Lip (not fitted)
Zender skirts (not fitted yet)

Engine/Drivetrain
1991 4A-GZE MAP Sensed
- Fresh headgasket, only 5000k old.
- Vac piping optimised
164mm HKS Pulley
Large Front mount IC
E58 5speed gearbox
Front AE101 Superstrut Twinpot calipers, with EBC Greenstuffs
ST185 GT4 Slotted Front Discs machined to fit
Slotted rear rotors
Reg90 pads
(fullsik red paint)
ROH Astrons (painted white) 15x6.5 running Falken Azenis

Suspension
K-mac shocks front and rear
k-mac superlow springs rear
Kings low springs front (due to heavier engine)
k-mac rear swaybar
thick aftermarket front swaybar (32mm)
nolethane bushes

Interior
AE92 Levin GTZ Seats (comfy as)
Sound deadening throughout
Custom pods for 6.5" speakers, currently running splits
TRD Gearknob (wow 50 extra kw)
Blitz FATT Turbo Timer
Apexi RSM
Apexi SAFCII
Autometer Sport Comp boost gauge
Button based climate control from GZE halfcut
Aftermarket Cruise Control.

Price: ~$9,000

Also comes with Rola roofracks

Thats basically it as far as i can remember. At the last dyno day in Melbourne (dec) it pulled a quite respectable 109kw at the wheels. I have created this car as a comfortable daily driver, which it does quite well, except that i dont really drive it daily. I am looking to upgrade to a car which will be able to do long distance trips with car trailers, something that the govt has decided this little car cant do Sad

This is a pic of the car when i first bought it: http://www.dysfunction.ws/galleryapp/CorollaSX/cor ollasx
And on the exterior it still looks pretty similar. Absolute sleeper, gets no attention frm the cops whatsoever, but goes very well.

Looking for offers around the 9k mark, and im in no hurry to sell (if i do)

EDIT: I have just put up some new pictures which i took today (sorry it took so long, uni was busy)

Body has done 225k, engine about 100k. That picture is pretty much exactly how it looks now. Apart from being slightly dirty.

Completely engineered
But you can only get RWC if you live in Vic, so no.

Re: EOI: AE92 SX Hatch w GZE Conversion Wed, 06 April 2005 03:06 Go to previous message
Its quite good, during the summer i ran some tests on it, and was getting around the 7.8-8.0L/100km mark around Canberra, thats with a bit of stick into and out of roundabouts too.

EDIT: alwaysRA23, note that the car is currently on ACT rego with rego until July, makes it a lot easier for you.
