nah no insurance, i bought the car for $500. the insurance cost more than what i bought it for and then if there was a claim there is the excess. so i didnt have any and put the money i would have used for insurance on the celica.
what pisses me off the most is that i only ahd the car for 3 months... so this has now set the celica back another 6mnths but im pushing along.
on a good note though the final front brake upgrade should be complete in the next few days except for the brake lines and bias valve (that will be done later)

i know how u feel mate i had my RA60 stolen from the front of my house and my parents reckon they heard a noisy car drive off but didn't think twice about it anwyway they stole my $1500 simmons mags and the car was found in the shittest subburb in hobart chocked up on blocks of wood. and wat is worse is this fuckwit that works at a wreckers said he could see it there for days but never reported it... stupid fuck wit its only casue hte police reguarly check therre that it was found. plus it was broken into 6 tiems after that... then the cops rang up one day and reported that they arrested a 21 year old male and a 35 year old male who was metally retarded and they had jacked 40 cars in one night and burnt out heaps of them... and now my MA61 hasn' had a finger laid on it... HAHAHA stupid fucks for gettign caught or even doign it in the first place... i would love to meet them tho and give htem a fuckign serving with hte 40+ people that had there cars go through the same stuff.. it jsut makes me so angry and that little picture of the face exploding was definately me these fucks jsut have no respect i bet if u broke into there VK commodore they would come after u and try to murder u... its not like they have anything in there car that is worth anything.. accept they stuff they have stolen from everyone else. anwyay mate sorry to hear and i share your pain. Damn man, i feel for you, that really sucks...
You didnt hear anything???
Looking at the bonnet.. was it a KE laser?
Its weird, the only cars ive ever seen burnt are lasers.. well, ive only seen the one in real life....
Coming back from the being out one night a few of our cars saw a car on the side of the road with an orange light inside it, and upon closer inspection the interior was on fire... the fire started to spread really close to the engine bay so we all jumped into our cars and left ( i didnt know if it was going to explode but i didnt want to be there if it did! )
Seeing the car and the seats and interior on fire made me sick to my stomach, that car was somebodies car you know?! It just made me feel so upset for the owner of the car and how i would feel if it was me, it truly was horrible and something i never hope to see again.
*Note - While we were there some others rocked up ( who lived really close by ) and said they had already called police/firies... they told us to go, because we wernt involved in it so we had no need to stick around ( and it was elderley-ish people so im pretty sure it wasnt the culprits just trying to get us to fuck off , plus as the fire was spreading throughout the car we all had to move away from it anyways) ... they said it was obviously a thrash and burn job.... lasers are just so easily broken into...

yeah it was. and no i didnt hear anything. i had alot of work stuff in the back of the car (papers) so it seems they lit that up and it burnt really really slow and there were no explosions. also there was no fuel in it.
funny thing was that when i drove the car that day it was empty and i was toissing up between filling it up or doing it the next day and i decided to leave it as i was going home and not going anywhere else that day and then this happened
the main thing i am spewing bout is that it had alot of tools in the car. my emergency tools that i carry in the car and they were literally melted to the car

Obviously just some fucking idiots who have no respect for property or who have never actually earnt anything or worked for anything of their own, other wise theyd appreciate others property...
*Edit - yeah i picked it as a KE because the ke's have a slight bulge in their bonnet, and also by the plastic rear garnish in between the tailights... the other type of bubble back lasers (kc) have a flat bonnet and flat metal between their tail lights...

whaqt spins me out is that they took the effort to break the steering lock but didnt break the ignition to try and start it.
it didnt look like there was any attempt to start it, just light it up. oh well what goes around comes around, so even if i dont find out who did it something will happen to them one day when they dont want it to... i just hope im the one who does it to them

Doesn't make any sense just moving the car down the road and torching it.
I think either:
The dickheads couldn't get the car started so they freaked out and torched it.
OR
They set fire to it as some sort of revenge.
There are so many whacko's on the roads these days I wouldn't be surprised if some idiot torched your car because you (or somebody with a similar car) drove too slow / fast for their liking, cut them off or just looked at them funny.
