t18 vs ta22 t series diff?

hi there, just a question for the tech heads out there,
what are the exact measurements between both the t18 diff and the ta22 diff, drum face to drum face?
are there any differences that i will be able to see, to spot a ta22 from a t18 diff?
thanx guys, i've tried searching but i couldn't find an answer.

Can't help you on the T18 but I have half a clue on the TA22. IIRC the rear track is 1285mm and the std steel wheel offset is 29mm, so that makes it something like 1342mm drum face to drum face, BTW some 30mm shorter than a RA23/28 axle.
Corrections to the above very welcome.

t18 very close to 1410 between the hub mounting surfaces.

Sprinter width is 1410mm, if the T18 is the same then that is what you have got. Ain't no way that a T18 is as small as 1350mm.....that is very early (70's) Celica and Corolla territory.
Easy way to check is with the complete axle on the ground, minus the wheels, put a straight edge vertically across each drum face and measure between them with a tape.

1410 is the measurement we took from a disc brake ae86 rear end. rough-ishly. but id say we'd be within 15mm. i just assummed they run that sam track as an 86, might be wrong.

oh alrights, so a t18 is the exact same width of a sprinter?
i'm asking because the diff i'm looking at might possibly go into a sprinter
