i have a 1989 toyota camry with a 3sfe and gearbox (both blown)

i need to replace them with somthing so i thought the 3sge is the stronger motor and i think it would fit easly with mininal cost and effort please help i need all the info you have in your heads on the the subject

not saying that you havent...

but have you searched for anythin on this yet?

you could look into st162 conversions.... might be useful ??

u will have to change loom and ecu etc as well there will be other problems easiest way probably a half cut.. depends wat you want out of the conversion the 3sge is the performance engine to the 5sfe etc... but it depends wat u call performance

i have researsched half cuts and engines with gearboxes

and that is not to costly

engine =900 reco
gearbox =245 new

toyota if u get desperate... that comes at a price though Razz


i think youll be hard pushed to find a intact loom best bet is a half cut as u know everything is there well it should be
