Does it come with the car as well??  What is the car in the photos?
Does it come with the single turbo manifold as well as the turbo in bits?
Is $3700 the starting point for negotiations or is that a fixed price?
And what is a slip joint?

Not a pair of turbo's from one engine as the VVTi engines came single turbo.

Who is selling this motor CrUZsida or Esteban?
Is it possible to see a picture of the single turbo manifold? I am curious to see if it could be modified to fit an aftermarket turbo and external wastegate with some modification.

Hey, that price sounds abit steep.
I know of a 1JZVVTi Auto with loom and ECU and a good turbo with a warranty for just over $2000. And the turbos off these engines are only little CT20.
Anyways, good luck with it.

Actually, the turbo is a CT20B, and is about the same size as a CT26.

Exhaust side is substantially smaller, apparently a CT26 exhaust housing can be used though.

Hey
mrk3supra, this is not steep, considering the R154 cost in the region of $1500-2000. This engine is in perfect condition, the turbo only had water sitting in it from importer pressure blasting the engine before delivery.Turbo is not too bad just needs new seals, my mate was going to do the whole turbo rebuild, bearings/seals...etc.
All the stuff like aircon/power steering pump/alternator is with it, and the tailshaft is brand new, just made up for a VL, so would be perfect for a VL turbo, coz thats what it is mounted into at the moment.
And yes, the turbo is basically a CT-26, with a different exhaust housing and turbine wheel.
Where abouts is the engine and auto you know is $2000?? Id be interested possibly, if i could afford it  running out of money

Since when? Until you mentioned it above, I'd never heard of a CT15B and everyone I've spoken to has called them a CT20B.
