Hmmm...just picked up a rebuilt t04 of a mate  is it feasable to put it onto a 1GGTE as a sequential setup using the standard turbos ?

anything is possible but whether or not it is worthwhile is another thing. Think 8 turbo ls1.

It was done in F1 with one turbo feeding another.
But that was to help in achieving about 5 bar of boost, not really what you would call streetable.....

you can have the small turbo feed the larger one to remove lag. hence keeping it twin
|

I was just gunna fabricate an adaptor to bolt the T04 straight onto the stock 1g-gte manifold

you gotta remember that the restriction on a 1g is the standard turbo housings.. so you'll still have that restriction

that 8 turbo thing is pretty average only 730hp at 13.5 psi pretty low boost for that much custom work.

Just make an adaptor that joins the two small 1G manifolds into one flange to take the TO4 where you want it in the engine bay.
This kind of thing has been done plenty of times with the 1J and Josh is doing it with his 1G.

lol... 8 turbos... someone is smoking some DAMN GOOD SHIT!!! but that's still no excuse for a lag machine...
anyhow, i can't beat that, but i can beat 5bar...
/me digs out old turbochargers book... i have here in front of me, a tractor... with 3 turbos... much the same config as you want... cept 2 blow into one, and that blows into the manifold... the result.... wait for it... 250PSI boost.. yeah... 250... two fifty... not twentyfive with an extra zero...
/me goes to convert that into bar...
that's a little over 17 bar!!! FMD!
