Corolla GTS (US AE86): have T series axle? Wed, 16 March 2005 14:58 Go to next message
Just curious if the Corolla GTS had T-series axle? And did they have zenki or kouki or both according to varying years? And what is that lower spec US AE86 again? Same Qs for that model...
Was the tranny and engine angled the opposite way for left handside driver?

most GT-S will have LSD t series
they have both seeing as the GTS sold for the entirety of AE86 build dates
the SR5 is the lower model and im not entirely sure of the housing type but they DEFINATLY didnt have LSD

ae88 Rolling Eyes

think of it this way
sr5 = 4ac
gts = 4age

but most (US) conversions just involve changing over engines
where there any levins made in america?

levins were not available in america.

owning a levin is something like a specialty over there (much like owning a trueno is a specialty here).

sr5 and GTS were available throughout the whole run, a 1988 could be anything. (if they even existed in ae86).

the yanks got a super nice interior compared to JDM and AUS Spec as well.

too bad their trueno's are ugly as (namely due to their bumper bars).

It'd be interested to know if 86s were available locally in those countries.
