howdy, can anyone provide me link to a site or some general information of the design of piston heads. Like the different grooves on them etc.
How can you tell if a piston is forged or not?
also can anyone tell me why there is a little groove cut out on these pistons i have. Is the left piston down the bottom.

i think you will find a lot of information if you looked
up head design/combustion chamber types, interference/non
interference heads, high comp/low comp heads etc...
cast/forged seems to be covered already
