My PB is a 12.48sec @ 116mph in a 7M MZ20 Soarer
Don't be shy post your times. Its all good.

Blitz K27, Blitz front mount, GT-R fuel pump i think, big injectors -possibly 800cc, HKS piggy back ecu, Pump fuel, R154.
Car is full weight also.
It should be good for a flat 12 or high 11sec if i can get a better 60ft. The best so far is a 2.0sec
Where are all the 7M owners?

Nice time dori dori.
Will have to get my mate Daniel to go to the track. He just bought Celicaboy2000's ma70 which has quite a few mods. Seat of the pants says a low 13 to me. But that could be way off.

I have seen a fella's ma70 with a lot less mods that your old car do a 13.8 so anything is possible!

What kind of mods? I'm keen to see what others are doing.
I know the 7M copped a bad rap for the head gasket but these motors are super tough.
I'd like to have a crack at the JMS time. Might need soem more grunt to run 122mph though.
Nothing a hit of gas couldn't fix.

I have absolutely no idea what I'd run down the quarter, but I would be curious to see what sort of power you are putting down Dori Dori - that will give me an idea of what I could run.

300.8kW at the wheels. Not bad for a daily driver. I might come to the next Toymods dyno day for a run.

If i can better my 60ft times sure, i can go quicker.
I just need more practise. Even if i can record a 1.8sec 60ft I shoudl run a flat 12sec. With some slicks i might even match the JMS time but i will need more power.
There has to be other 7M owners that have run decent times. These motors are making the same as 2JZs in the US.

I have no idea what I would run down the quarter when I am done with my car, but it isn't high on my priority list.
Main focus will be cct time around Mallala
I love racing through corners and more than 400m at a time

Posting on behalf of a mate who doesn't browse these forums.
12.3 @ 110mph with a best mph of 113mph. High flowed CT-26, ex Group A TRD motor, MV Auto built auto. I believe it had around 250rwkw when it ran those times (over 3 years ago, it collects dust now )
Mods now include custom intake plenum, GT40, 1200cc jets, M800, not quite finished but will be shortly.

its one thing to make power, its another thing to convert that into good 1/4 mile times. it aint a simple as plant the foot and it all happens
blcjet is a dyno comp winner designed car. its hasnt been designed to do anything but win dyno comps and blow head gaskets.

Looks like someone bought an importbitz car!
I did the same a few weeks ago, it will work out much cheaper than doing a conversion to the 61, except i went the z20 route.

Its also in the gold edition of fast fours and he said he blew both a gearbox and a diff trying to do the quarter mile. so they fixed them and then the owner didn't want to break anything else so he let the guy who helped him tune it drive and and as it only has a single spinner (i have no idea why....) just drove it off the line and did like a 2.6 or 2.8 second 60 foot time.
but yeah that engine bay is insane. I love it.

OK I havent hit the quarter yet but so far have cut 302.8kw at the wheels on my 7M-GTE at 18psi. I have an MA-70, whats the weight difference between a Soarer and a Supra I forget and I dont have my brochures with me at the moment. Manual seem to be alot harder to get a good time out of in these cars than auto. I also need to get max power out of my motor the last dyno session was cut short should be able to run 25psi.
Either way I know the time will not be indicative of the engine power, however I am considering converting it to auto for a while to get some times out of it, especially now that I found out that apparently the OS cross gears I purchased dont adress the thrust washer issue in the R-154 which is the main weakness with them.
Any more 7M-GTEs to come out of the woodwork?

Not sure how much detail you want but the motor has forged pistons big cams etc and I run a GT 3540 Turbo. Still a few bits and pieces to finish up on it and then push more boost through it.
