hey, does anyone have any pics of done up ke70/ae71 corolla's? looked heaps but cant find any that have really nice paintwork and rims and stuff. maybe gonna buy one to do up since my ae82 is pissing me off (stoopid understeering front drive cars Mad )

Drove an AE71 4age pannel van today. Absolutley sideways every where, couldn't keep it straight lol, very fun.

I didnt think i would say this but this ke70 is Hot Smile....and its for sale for 7k...If your in sydney and your a ke70 fan i would go have a look at it even if u dont want to buy it Cool .

the yellow one and the green one are both rotary, not sure what the other two are running but the blue one is a pretty serious looking bit of car, roll cage, big tubs, etc.

lmao... that's great Razz doing the quarter with roof racks... all you need is some surfboards to top it off...

i think one of the best quarter miles i've seen was by a JCB backhoe.... lol.. yeah, had a 350chev i think, and fake dirt in the bucket!

mine aint exactly as hot as any of those... yet Very Happy. but heres some pics anyway, shows what you can do with a $2000 car + only $1000 worth of mods. Currently working on an AE82 bumper conversion, and trust me bumpers are the only thing that keeps this car's looks down.

EDIT2: argh free hosts dont let you see images on other sites, want a look just look at website in sig Razz
EDIT3: oh and it was only $2000 due to just being rwc and with 10 month rego, when i wrote it off and got another one in only slightly worse condition i only payed $300 Rolling Eyes

EDIT4:
Also I'm kinda suss about those "rotories" up there, to me they look like riceboxes with no drive modifications at all, also noting the yellow has stock brakes... I mean who in their right mind would put a rotory engine in a ke70 and not do anything about the tiny as piss brakes a ke70/ae71 starts off with....

riced up yellow peice of shit, have they no shame?

I knew a guy with a ae-71 pannel van with custom bumpers, and a nicely resprayed red colour and a 100kw engine, it looked awesome

when sam says went out in style... OH MAN DID IT GO OUT IN STYLE... I happened to be the lucky one sitting in the passenger seat when he drove it into about 15 trees, into a fence, and then off a 2 meter embankment onto asphault at 50kms an hour... my life flashed before my eyes... oh and i forgot to mention the 3 minutes worth of doughies around a bus stop at 7000RPM...

EDIT: oh and just so u know, this car was still running as good as ever after all of that torture... KE70's and AE71's can take the biggest beatings of a lifetime and still run...

One of the quickest ones in NZ around a circuit.

And the quickest one over 400ms in NZ (and one of the most powerful 4AGTE's in the world). 10.52 @ 134mph and something like 650hp at the wheels.
