hi guys, just wondering all your opinoins on turbo'in my 20v, do you think its safe to just slap a turbo on and run low boost? im not plannin on running high boost so i thought that a small turbo running 7 or 8 pound without any bottom end changes would safe? and whats the best set up? custom plenem running a single throttle body (like rigoli's) or run all four of them? i heard that running all four sucks heaps more juice then a single one

Ive seen a few Blacktop Turbos on stock bottoms, They seem to handle a little boost.

But my main two concerns would be fueling and tuning before I started to worry about intakes and turbos.

You will need a oil cooler, very good tuning and a decent intercooler, if you want the motor to last. And i dare say at least 98 octane fuel.

Even the slightest amount of pinging or detonation will under boost will destroy those 20v's.

But its been done before so no reason if its done right it wont work for you.

Cheers

Steve

Use the search function for indepth opinions on this topic. But I'll state mine once again. Use the 4AGZE If you want to turbo a 4A.
