Oh yeah, there's also the:
- 1UZFE with 4 speed auto
- Hilux LSD with 3.9:1 gears
- 287mm ventilated front discs
- 291mm ventilated rear discs
- 800 lb/in front springs
- extra leaf in rear
- Konis, and
- completely stock looking interior and exterior, right down to the column shift.
If I can't fit the blower under the bonnet then I will fit a stealth NAWZ system. Hoping for a high 14 sans blow.

Wishbone front end, not struts. Motion ratio is approximately 2:1, so in effect they act like 400 lb/in springs. On a big barge like this, you'd barely notice them.

Initially, use the basic principles of RICE:
- Rest
- Ice
- Compression, and
- Elevation.
A short run of non steroidal anti inflammatories (Like Nurofen) is also helpful (provided you're not allergic to them or have kidney problems or peptic ulcer disease). Chat to physio too as they can plan a graded exercise regimen for you.

i can confirm that GT has been lying about the penis comment after he let me pat his pussy on friday afternoon.
i can also confrim that the bubbles engine exists, and that the crown is living up to its f00ly sikness attitude after i was told that he's planning to fit STOLEN parts to it for extra street cred.
this car will be one hell of a chick pullin machine, only the hottest honiez covered in their best slutty putty need apply.

Oh yeah, and it flies too - seems nearly as fast as the Corona. Maybe it's just the fact that a bus is moving much more rapidly than it should have.

How sik is the zorst you got?
I found mine sounded better with a really restrictive zorst, and cheap muffler (total cost $450ish), compared to how is sound now with 3k worth of system.

Well, Project Crown is now on the road. It is registered but awaits engineering.
The one pulse per revolution output as per Grant (sixworks) allows the auto to shift beautifully, but I think I will get a 4 pulse per revolution generator that plugs into the speedo cable site as a backup.
So in summary:
- 1UZFE running off the standard ECU
- 4 speed auto (column shifted)
- G series Hilux LSD with 3.9:1 gears
- custom tailshaft
- rack and pinion conversion (power steering)
- 15/16" Commodore master cylinder on KE30 brake booster
- front 287 mm vented discs and single pot caliper
- rear 291mm vented discs and single pot caliper
- 14 x 7 Rebel lookalike mags
- 225 60 14 Yokohama A509
- totally standard interior and exterior (apart from mags)
As you can see from the picture, the car needs to be lowered badly, particularly in the rear. I will limit this to only a couple of inches (remember it's still a tow car!) so that's next week's job. If I can track down a set of MS55 or 65 hubcaps, I may get some steelies widened and run the hubcaps for the complete sleeper look.

Now lowered about 65mm. Car rides well with new springs and Konis. Also fitted a 27mm VN Commodore front bar.
Now need to tidy up some wiring, iron out all the little bugs as they crop up, retrim the front bench seat, get it engineered and then paint.

<--- I already have a p00 brown car.
Probably going to go for a retro color - something like a spring green, sage or wisteria grey with a white roof. Need to check at the local paint shop to see if they have the color swatches from way back in the early 60's.

retro colours can be nice
was looking at the 1954-55 Mercedes 300SL Gullwing in Gran Turismo 4 today... they had a lovely selection of colours available! worth a look IMHO if you are after that kind of colour era. Also there's a lovely eyesore lime green colour that BMW 2002s were available in... dunno if it'd suit this car though

ooh, i do like that spring green. good stuff!
also what weight are you expecting to tow with it? do these have coil rear, and if so, are you going to put polyairs or similar in there? a mate has them in his VT SS tow car (tows a datto 1600 racecar) and swears by them

<----- Hope to tow that.
Hoping the stiffer rear leaves will do the trick and that the Konis will adequately control them. I suppose ultimately it will come to how well balanced the load is out the back there. Otherwise, yes, air shocks.
It's totally bizarre - I have no idea how Toyota decided on their spring rates - the front springs were only 210 lb/in and the leaves in the rear were so soft such that even though the guards were over 120mm above the tyre, if I hit a bump they would still scrub the tyres. It now has the beefcake 750s in the front, stiffer leaves in the rear and the Konis and it feels like a great car. The V8 shove in back is nice too.

Woodgrain is cool and I certainly have a plethora of Mk2 hubcaps!
Lime green looks great on the XA coupe Clint but I'm unconvinced it's the go on wagon. If I were going to go for a wacky paint job then I'd do it in a dark purple metal flake with flames across the front.
I have PS7 - how do I simply change the color of the car?
