um i dont think there is a 3tg as a production motor, there is a 3tgte and a 3tc, a 3tg is a hybrid of a 2tg head and 3tgte/3tc
crank which makes it 1800cc, bore out to about 1980cc max.

no such thing, but a 3TGTE is 1770cc, as I assume is a 3TC.

some one was telling me i could use the crank and the rods from a 3tc and fit 3tgte turbo pistions on and place them into my 2tgue block with the 2tgue head because the 2tgue rods are shorter and the piston does not reach the head and i could get the 3t stuf heat protected for turbo does that make any sence to any one is there any problems with that?

a 3T-C was carbied and 1770cc, a 3T-GTE was EFI turbo and 1770cc also. there was no EFI NA 3T as far as im aware.

to make a 3T/2TG hybrid (3tg) you use the 3TC bottom end and a 2TG head. you need to have reliefs cut into the piston crowns so that they dont hit the valves.
it would be a waste of time and money to do the conversion you described, much more sensible to just buy a 3T-GTE in the first place.

note the search function in the top right of your screen.
