Select the area you want to change and paste it as a new adjustment layer, from what I remember. I think that's how I've done it in the past.

Sweet - that just gave me an idea for my drift bitch - although I dunno about full aussie flag but southern cross wouldn't go astray. Of course, I wish there was a way to make a drift car look like a drift car, and not have it passed off as some fast'n'furious bollocks. I mean, I'm only getting into drift cause I can't afford to go rallying, I swear!!!
