Auto's are a dime a dozen it seems. No one appears to use the Auto in most conversions. Check out the forum for sale futher, I remember seeing people getting 'rid' of them for a few hundred!

A W58 and dellow bellhousing is a $900 proposition...

Autos are a dime a dozen cause we just threw out about 8 of them...but just like the S13 silvias the manual boxes are very scares and very expensive. Your better off leaving the 1j as an auto as the ECU for an manual box is very hard to find because most companys won't seperate from a conversion kit. The only other option is to go after market wiring loom like motec so you can be rid of the air flow meter and change from auto to manual or vica versa without worrying about ECU changing. From the pic this conversion would be a great buy seeing as most complete 1j conversion kits start from around $1950 plus some 1j motors have a hydrolic fan assembly which makes it hard since not all cars have enough room for them. Be carefull with what you purchase when it comes to the 1j...this 1j is the common type snap it up while u can...i would if i didnt already have one for sale myself

Hey SL666?

Small world hey Smile

I'm sure Stuart should be able to track one down for cheap.

Here's one that was on here awhile ago, just to give you an idea how 'dirt' cheap they are...
