I too would be interested to know this, and where/what it consists of exactly? do the 18RGu and 18RGeu differ in this aspect? When i purchased my motor the previous owner said he had removed all the emissions gear but was going to include it for me incase i need to get it thru emission/roadworthy tests. But i am not sure of this because i dont think anything like this arrived extra with it or it could still be in place.
any info is welcome Wink

Cheers

The major difference between the 18R-G and 18R-GU is the lower compression ratio, which isn't easy to change. The rest of the emissions gear is nothing to worry about; it will have zero effect on performance if functioning correctly. Leave it be.

i also have an 18r-gu... and i dont know what, if any, of the pollution gear my engine is running. Basically i dont even know what im trying to identify. Since i may eventaully have to get my RA28 engineered with the 18rgu.... and in which case i think i would need to run it.
