4AGE: will $4k be enough	Sat, 09 April 2005 03:04

hey guys im thinking of putting a lil more spunk into my Ke20 so far i was going to just give the 4k a bit more power but the costs are going up way too much and im not seeing enough power. Would $4000 be enough to buy a 4age 16v front cut and have it put in. I know mounts and gearbox have to be changed but is there anything else major to consider? dont bother with the half cut, waste of money get a bare engine (head block and dizzy ($500)) grab a coil off a ae82/ae92 buy some carbs and a adapter + exhaust manifold + a decent t50 that all should set you back about $3000 tops [Report message to a moderator]

4000 is about enough if you do everything yourself. DO buy a frontcut, or you will be forever chasing up bits and pieces to finish the job. if you arent going to do the work yourself, just get a quote on a drive in drive out conversion. [Report message to a moderator]

if u want ive got some 4age engine mounts that im probably not going to need anymore u can buy if u want? they are 2t rubber mounts with custom side engine mounts. bolts to a k series crossmember. [Report message to a moderator]
