Confirming Compliancing

Hi Guys,
Went to look at a JZA80 Supra today. Nice 6 Spd. SZ-R.
Anyway it has been complied recently and comes with 6 months rego.
Now can I just confirm that it's been completely complianced, the guy selling it says it has, but you never know...
It had the built plate from Toyota in the front, it had a purple sticker with an Australian Government Logo on it and a barcode in the engine bay next to that stating it had been complied, and next to that it had a piece of metal with the VIN matching the build plate riveted into the car.
Does that all sound right? Rego sticker matched everything else.

What "relevant paperwork" is it? I'm assuming that there is some paper work for the compliancing? If so what's it look like and what should it have on it?

importation approval, engineering certificate, and probaly a notice from the RAWS that has done the work on it to state that the relevant work has been done and by whom.

Well one would think that, but dodgy things have been done in the past.....I just want to make sure that when I fork out my hard earned dosh for a JZA80, that when I go to renew the rego on it next year that I dont get told "this isn't complied, we can't renew the rego", that would suck, because uncomplied Supras are for sale here at the moment for as little as $10,000.
