FS: KE25 for resto (adelaide) Mon, 15 November 2004 11:27 Go to next message
1971 KE25 Toyota Corolla,
4K, 5 speed, 32/36DGV weber
I took this off the road for minor body repairs and a respray but have come to the realisation that two projects are just too expensive and time consuming, so I would like to sell this KE25. I am only asking $500 but I want it to go to an enthusiast! It can be registered and is not defected.

Post or message through this board.

Thanks.

Does it run ? previous engine problems ? crash history ? K's on motor ? K's on Car ? Will it need to go through Regency ? Where in SA are you ? Rust ?

Basically i'm after a running car that i can use and do up on the side not just sit in the driveway.

Yes it runs,
None I have experienced,
It's a 33 year old car, Km's don't count anymore.
No it is defect free,
Yes it has some rust.

You would probably want to give it a quick lick of paint before you drive it on the road.

Yeah it needs a tyre pumped up!
I used to drive it every day but took it off the road to repair some rust and give it some paint but have lost interest.
Be good for someone who could do that stuff in their backyard. It's not immaculate but I don't think I am asking much.

or you could just use a spray gun.

this is an old thread, and yes I'm keen to know if the coupe is for sale also. Going to scrap the ke55 coupe that has just been resprayed 4 weeks ago. Kinda keen on the ke25 and go 2tg in that. I assume it is as easy to fit a 2tg into that as it was to fit a 2tg into the ke55? will it take the xt130 struts for brake upgrade?

Cool Adam,
we can both go look then. Do you need the body? What are the parts you need? We can probably go halves on it, can chainsaw the car down the centre. Remember, technicaly there are 3 different ways to cut the car in half. Or 4 if you include cutting it diagonally. Scott, you going to be at the cruise on friday? If Adam's not keen on the car, I will scrap the ke55 coupe that I sprayed 4 weeks ago.

looking at the gear box and webber and front guards and possibly the tyre well in the boot, as mine got to much rust but it might need most of it bar the bonnet as it' the early model and prefer my 73 model any way my current bonnet got hole straight through it

or short answer would be all of it

Very Happy Very Happy

Drive a Dark Blue Eunos at mo, doing up the ke55 coupe with 2tg.
There's another lad I chat to quite a bit at motor traders, he drives a sprinter with 4age. I think I pass you most mornings coming from Underdale to REGENCY PARK.
Will you be at the cruise next Friday night?
Might see you there.
