nah suspension stays the same. only thing u need to concern urself with is getting the right stud pattern, and then making sure they will fit width wise. The offset should preferably be similar, but varied ones will also fit, just might not depending on width. I think the 8' wide should fit with similar offset, obviously u will need to match the 17's with rubber to get the same rolling diameter. see here to work it out...

and remember jap rims are better! also remember the more dish the merrier!!

If that centre cap belongs on those wheels then they came from Tempe tyres.
Give them a call and find out how much a new set are worth.

But in anycase with wheels like those its all depends on if you like the style of them... they do not add a great deal of performance or handling.
To give you a rough idea on pricing a new set of 17's from Tempe go from ~1000 to above 2500 a set with rubber.
Mind you the rubber that Tempe seem to dish out doesn't last long.

Of course the performance comment is not as relevant if you are buying superlight matched weight forged alloys or something (but that is not what these are)

Is the celica a st16x or an st184??

i.e. squarish late 80s model, or the totally round, curvy "hairdressers" early 90's model??

If it's an ST184 like my old baby, you'll be after a set of 17x7" wheels, 5x100mm stud pattern, with a positive offset of between +35 and +40mm.

An offset of less than +35 (MAYBE +33) will make your front wheels rub the outer guards, an offset of more than +40 (MAYBE +42) will foul the inside-rear against the strut-housing.

It's a fine line to tread, and it makes it REALLY hard to get wheels, since most rims available in this stud-pattern are +45 offset for the WRX. Mad

This worlds small

I was just reading through the latest Speed magazine and lo and behold on page 42 theres a pretty black RX-7, rolling on rims that look VERY simlair to those in your picture bar the decals.
They are Lenso Conept 5's.

I'd run down to the local news agent and check it out
