They are all W58 2j bellhousings.

actaully all the W58 2JZ bellhousing's are probably 1JZ castings. Since the 1JZ was before the 2JZ.

What he's trying to spit out is that 1JZGTE's never came with W series gearboxes, only R series boxes. The 2JZGE was the only JZ series of motor that was fitted with a W58, and this is where you'll source a bellhousing from to suit the smaller style gearbox.

Are you sure about that?
I've seen several 1JZ's fresh of the boat at importers and they have W58's bolt to them. Not saying that they couldn't have been molested in Japan though..

I was meaning 1jzgte's.
They(the importer) don't bother importing the non turbo's.
I've never seen(in person) a 1JZGE.
