same here... $1100 for custom made and valved shocks
"nothing available off the shelf"
the B46-0306 doesnt seem to be in production anymore, but is fully rebuildable, so im not that worried. i nearly fell over when this pair came up on ebay.
now to find me some rav4 front B6's or something

nah, not tems compatible... i found some wired info about that too, but its not the case, the B46-0306 wont mount on the ma70's rear mount, so it simply cant be the same shock.
as far as tech stuff goes, a good read here:

Did well Ed. Mine cost me a little more, but looks much shinier !!!!
Not sure on whether I'll fit it, but it will probably be required.
Allan,
How do you know the MA70 MC has a shorter stroke (than the MA61 unit) ? How much is the difference ?

if it is a shorter stroke, that could actually be a good thing... pedal will be nice and uber stiff...
wont need or want to move the linkage points/ratio

wouldnt more leverage be better then a hard pedal? will also be more progressive with revised linkage point?

Strange how I'll end up sitting up in a seat I used to sit in. But it'll be on the other side of the car. Oh well, NEV need some welding done. Actually he's got a TIG now...

Good god... first update since may thats embarrassing
anyway, justin's garage is still dirty, and yet he wants me to drop more shit over at his house an incentive to turn up and get work done. go figure, sadistic bastard.
the sparco is finally in my posession, and fuck me what a comfy seat. need to rig up some side rail mounts, and get that installed ASAP, me want to sit in it already...
looks like dave is selling me his port 2jz head too, nil complaint about that either:
the manifold is still dragging its feet. seems that forming 55mm alloy pipe from a circle to a sqaure-like oval over 80mm length is a bit tough. be damned im paying someone $80/hr to do it for me though. looks like this could take a while. currently looking at getting a block of nylon, cnc'ing the oval shape into it, then cutting in half, and using it as a die in a press to crush the pipe...
dont even ask me about the brake
on the upside, i did get the old girl tinted today (15%!!) and she looks fantatsic. pics when i get around to it. at least this way if i do get pulled over, its make peering into the back and seeing all the 'bad' stuff less likely...
cheers

You want the cams too? 304, 262 @ 50 thou, 0.435" lift - absolutely farken sick cams.
I'm going to pull the VVTi motor apart next week and make sure I can't do anything with them.
Also getting price on Argos next week - be much cheaper to buy 12 rather than 6.....
