hey ppl putting a new 4age in my ae 82 seca after opinions on weather to leave the twin solexa on it or to put the tvis set up i have on wich one preforms better ect cheers

A lot of people are scared to go EFI because they beleive it will be to complicated... When in actual fact its not to hard, and a lot of people spend thousands trying to get an EFi car to run on Carbies and end up with less performance.

Having said that, I couldn't wire up my engine...

yeah mine is factoy injected and the orignal motor was injected but the botom end went so all my wiring ect is there but the 4age i purchased had carbies on it so yeah i dunno if its difuclut to slop on the tvis manifold and bits to make it injected or not

If you've got the factory computer and manifold etc. from the original motor you'd be crazy not to go EFI.

What carburettors do you have? You said Solexes, are they 40s or 44s?

they r 40s so the injection setup off my old motor should bolt srtaight on ?

I'm no 4A-G expert, so I'm not sure. But I'd think that provided the head is in the same family (ie. bigport/smallport/20V) it should fit fine.
