are you sure it works with all networks? its just that this is a 3 phone (no shit right?), but 3 operate on a different network to other carriers (3 use the 3G netwrork, others are gsm or cdma). because they use the 3g network, 3 usually only sell 3G phones,ie phones that only work on 3 and no other carriers.

but if youve tested it and it works thats cool.

nah mate it can be used on any network ive tested it. a 2g sim card can be used on a three phone but the user will not be able to do video talk, as this is a 3rd generation thing. however a 3g sim card will not work on any 2g phone for the reason you have stated above. hope this clears this up for you
