Yo guys and girls, its that time of year again, Anzac day and the massive Supercruise is on again.
Unlike other years there will be no official meet up place to start the cruise, only an official destination. This is due to the enormous amount of effort to organise meet up, it is easier to just organise a destination point.
This year the event will be held at Albion Park Airport from 12pm onwards.
There will be
BBQ
DRINKS
Ice Cream
Jumping Castle
Aeroplane & Helicopter rides.
Entry is via sticker purchase, cost is $20 per car, tickets can be purchased at entry point. Aall monies raised will go to charity, mainly Childrens Hospital at Westmead. Also Police have been notified about the Event and they will be monitoring it so please be on your best behaviour, there will be no defect setup at this place, but please ppl it only takes 1 idiot to screw an awesome event.
Bring your family, bring any car you like. Look forward to seing you there.

Supercruise goes from Roselands carpark down Princess Hwy to the Gong...
Newport cruise goes from Homebush Bay down Mona Vale Rd, left at Barrenjoey Rd and up to Newport Beach...

lol... Look back and see what happened on the REDLINE cruise...
Around $4000 raised for charity, about $10,000 raised in defects... 20 cars got red stickered for stupid things like wheels to big and front mounts and so on...

Sounds like a great ised given the charity thing, BUT the coppers are pretty strict at the moment on Modified vehicles.
Altho if said vehicles were properly engineered then the coppers don't have a leg to stand on.

i wont be attending in my soarer, the dodgy cable ties someone had used as exhuast mounts snapped and the whole exhuast is swinging off the dump pipe. i'll be attending in my mates Datsun 260 with 19 inch chromies and air bags.

ok, i was driving through on the way home from Nowra, and ive talked to a few ppl who went,
there were A LOT of cars and just as many defects and fines.
although it did look impressive driving through it, some very nice cars

I was tempted to go down there but the fact that it's Easter long weekend, traffic and asshole cops that'll defect even the most legitimately-engineered modified car  , I decided not to chance it.
