For sale is my Australian delivered MR2 Mk1 AW11 (build date November 1987). The car was completely
stripped and rebuilt by the previous owner, who completed the work in early 2003 and subsequently sold
it to me. The engine was replaced with a newer and more powerful 20 Valve variant of the standard
4AGE motor, and is rated at 123kw as opposed to the supercharged MR2's 108kw, and standard
MR2's 88kw. The car has done 130,000kms, and the engine approximately 35,000kms. It's registered
until 18th July and is locacted in Lismore NSW (an hour and a half south of the Gold Coast).

Here are the main features,

Mechanical:
20 Valve Blacktop 4AGE engine
MoTeC M4 Adjustable ECU
5-speed manual gearbox with quick shift
Daiken Heavy Duty clutch
King Springs and KYB Shocks
17" Advanti Racing rims
205/40ZR17 Kumho Ecsta Supra tyres
Custom made stainless steel muffler and 2" exhaust

Interior:
Brant AA02 auto-arming 3 point immobiliser with integrated remote central locking
Kenwood CD Tuner with Pioneer front splits and Alpine 6x9s in custom box between the seats.
Autotechnica red/black leather steering wheel and gear knob

Exterior
Full bare metal respray in 2-pak WRX rally blue
Erebuni front and rear bumpers
Mirrored glass targa roof panels
Clear side indicators and tinted rear lights
Tinted Windows

There were also many new parts fitted during the rebuild, including fuel pump, battery, K&N pod
filter, clutch and master cylinders, and brakes. The car is in excellent condition - goes, stops, and
handles brilliantly. Recently serviced by Toyota at 127,000kms, always garaged, and always run on Optimax.

There are a couple of minor issues: the air-con doesn't work, the roof seals can leak if parked outside
during prolonged heavy rain, and there are the usual stone chips on the front bumper, as well as a
small scrape on the rear left (just visible in the photo). I'm selling in order to get something a bit
more practical and a bit less hardcore, but this car has been a hell of a lot of fun.

Price $12,000 firm
