Hey, i'm just wondering what peoples thoughts are about this computer:

AMD XP3000+ 333FSB (2.16ghz) Retail Box

Western Digital 120 gig 7200rpm 8meg Cache
SONY 52x32x52x CRX-220E OEM

Jetway M/Bs are only just so so, might want to look at other options there, other bits look OK though

go for a combo drive, so you can read dvds as well, doesnt cost much more

All those things listed work out to $803. I'll be using it for games, internet, tafe so sorta everything. Thanks for ur help so far guys.

really it doesn't matter what you want to buy as just everything you buy comes with a manufacturers warranty and if you are getting some company to build it, then they will most likely give you a warranty too. so don't worry, that thing will handle pretty much all games (to an extent)
and do what you want for tafe.
and you can always get add-on bits later.

Turf the Sony Drives and get 1 Pioneer DVD burner 109. Will read everythign and burn CD's and DVD's. Cost about $90. I'd go 1GB of RAM. at only $59 for 512, why wouldn't you. I have not heard of Jetway either?? I generally buy ASUS or MSI boards. Never had problems with them.
Other than that. Looks OK. I assume you have everythign else already (Mouse, keyboard, printer, monitor etc.)
