'05 Tacoma 6spd manual transmission.

Is the '05 Tacoma V6 related to the 2UZ in the Tundra? If so I wonder if the 6spd transmission in the '05 Tacoma will fit on the any of the UZ series engines?
It could be an easy and inexpensive way to source a 6spd for a xUZ engine swap.
If not, then maybe it will fit on a M or JZ series engine.

6 speed looks like a 4x4 box only.
If its anything like the 4 speed 4x4 box behind the 2UZFE in the Landcruisers, then is about double the size of a W58.
The Landcruiser box is the H150 I think. And is reported to be much larger than an R154.

The Landcruiser has the H151F.
I think this is a pic of a H55F, which is supposed to be similar dimensions to the H151F.
As you can see, its huge.

The 6 speed probably has useless 4wd ratios any. Good if you like doing 1st gear wheelstands 
|
