well im not tryin to act like a tuff guy or anything but when it happened it just felt like the ball hit the end of my finger so i had a look and went oh shit..walked over to show everyone how cool it was had time to take pix and relax i put a bit of pressure on it hoping it will go back in and i started feelin light headed so i stopped and i was advised to goto hospital which i got a local which didnt take full impact by the time it was put back in but i was gettin bored waiting (it had already been 45mins) so i chomped onto my wrist and 20 long seconds later it was in...
the local is still in effect atm so i cant any pain...
6 WEEKS..IM GOIN TO CRY!!

Was that broken or just dislocated?
I can't count the amount of times I've put my team mates fingers back in. You've just got to pull it some.
I thought I dislocated my toe once and though 'this will be easy, it's got to be just like putting a finger back in'. After pulling it out and letting it line itself up, I was on my way. It turned out to be broken and I now have no movement in the knuckle that it went at, frozen solid

I have had almost the exact same injurt in basketball, only rather than the bone being pushed to the side, it jumped up on top. Noting broken, just dislocated, but it snapped a tendan between my finger and hand, so now I can bend my finger backwards nearly 90 degrees.
This happened several years ago so no pics and same situation, it didn't hurt initially.

just one of those bball injuries..the ball just hit the tip of my finger...still no pain tho..weird?... it was just a dislocation i tried to put it in no one esle would touch it but it turns out there would of been no way i could of put it in the force the doctor needed was beyond belief...
my dad has the same finger amputated but he lost his in a motorbike chain! nice huh?

looking at it now its not even bruised bad and there isnt much swelling either...weird?
finger injuries in basketball are expect as u get better they reduce tho so i must be pretty crap lol

its now day 4 since my finger was popped back in and i havnt felt pain yet.. i can bend it as far as the swelling will let me with no pain..i dont get it..
i think it will be fun for u guys to place some bets/guess on wat game i will make my return..i know its not goin to be 6 weeks away, especially since there is no pain. If there were pain i would be reminded how much it will hurt if i play but thats not the case.
so i have 18 games ill miss over the 6 weeks
from game 1 which is tuesday (tomorrow) to game 18 which will be thursday 6 weeks from now take ur pick..
if only i had a prize..

Must be the week for hand injuries. I got bitten on the fingers by a venomous snake last week. Bloody thing swelled up and I lost all feeling in my hand and arm for about 4 days. Really quite painful afterwards too.It took a week for the feeling to come back and get full use again.

Yeah I had the same thing as Sigmeister, very similar only the finger buckled above the knuckle. Went for the steal and whacked the ball with the tip of my little finger!
I can't straighten that finger like I can on my right hand anymore.
