ST Head, 16v block, twin carbies Mon, 25 April 2005 06:07 Go to next message
good day fellas. i thought of posting since i couldnt find the answer to my project. i can secure a silvertop complete head, a 7-rib 2nd gen 4age 16v complete (stock) block (from 2nd gen tvis), and a pair of carbs (weber 45s and 40mikunis). what are your thoughts regarding this combo?

what are the possible problems i would be facing? please enlighten me. thanks. more power

kumusta pare, if your going to use the 20v silvertop head it would be much easier to keep the quad throttles and efi. simply because it is more efficient and precise. carbs need very careful tuning to perform at thier best. the 7 rib block is a good choice as it is stronger than the earlier 4age block. also the 7-rib block has oilsquirters which is useful.

hope this helps

sab
