Toymod stickers on your car

Everyone asked if anyone here owns this and that. Why not have a sticker to all members and pop her on ur windscreen so people know that you are apart of toymods?
Just an idea. Might be a waste of time but meh.

yes i found out that if ur not a member u get evil looks for having the toymods logo on your car. like i made my own with a decal cutter and it looks identical to all the ones ive seen on cars so yer ppl didnt like it cause im not a member.
just my 2 cents

the reason being is that the Toymods logo is the representative mark of the Toymods Car Club Inc. (that's right, we are more than just a forum - Toymods is an incorporated car club which simply RUNS a forum for the benefit of the club memebers).
Thus people having Toymods logos on their cars who are NOT financial members will directly be associated with the club, as will their actions. Being incorporated with an elected comitee, etc etc we have a reputation to uphold and would like to remain well respected within the wider community.... having people we dont know falsly misrepresenting the club (in that they are not a financial member) is a risk we simply cannot afford to take sorry.
Think of it this way.....
# bad stuff happens with dudes with Toymods logos on their car
# club gets associated
# club brought into disrepute and faces closure
# the forums would then also subsequently disappear
# No more fun for all.

i fully understand the implications thats y i keep the sticker in my glove box. if i lived in nsw then i would happily pay to be a member but because i cant get to the meetings ect i wouldnt really feel like a member as i would neva see neone.
neways im getting a new sticker now that says
"my car might be a piece of shit
but im still in front of you"
or
"if you think sex is a pain in the
ass, your taking it the wrong way"
would look good on my back windscreen :):)

I reckon the Toymods logo and stickers need to be redesigned to look more professional and aesthetically pleasing.
I wouldn't be putting a Toymods sticker on my car mainly because it is ugly.
I don't want it to be taken the wrong way, I like the club, I like the forum... but if I were to become a paying member of the club my free sticker would be bannished to a dark corner in my room to avoid assulting peoples eyes with it.

I think the toymods sticker looks nice on the rear windscreen of my car (white celica st162). Unfortunatly the previous owner put it there and I haven't joined yet. Plan on joining soon though.

maybe there is something "us" non-financial members can do?
perhaps a sticker like
- TMF (toymods forums)
- tomofo (toy mods forums)
- TMFM (toy mods forum member)
just a few suggestions but im sure theres better ideas
anyway if we had a small sticker and all put it in a similar spot eg. middle rear window it could be an idea.

If you're just out for people to recognise you, why don't you come up with your own sticker? It doesn't have to have anything to do with Toymods. That way you can't get the club in shit and people would be able to recognise you.
When I was younger, all my mates cousins (big wog family) used to have a 'pow' stickers on their cars. Pretty good way of spotting them all.

Stradlater - im victorian too and a financial member ( as far as i know the only one in this state - prove me wrong )- benefits are - free tshirt , and a very good discount plan from penrith TRD which saved me a tonne in the mighty 3sgte build ..
there are others but most are sydney related ..
Plus i feel its my little contribution to keep the forums running - they dont run for free , nor does the volunteers equipment that the forums are based on ..

for just a dollar a week you can have yourself a toymods sticker join now and we'll throw in a t-shirt, members card offering discount to numerous outlets, renewals are only 80c per week.
