Lexus badging.
I dont get it.
Is there something im missing?
Who wants to change toyota badges to lexus badges? Basically thats saying that theyve overpaid for something that they didnt overpay for. And that theyve got a shittier car than they have.
"i bought a toyota for 12k$ and now im going to make it look like i wasted 30k$ on it?"
"im also going to make it look like there arent as many options in here as there are"
Sorry if i tread on some toes. Im just trying to further my understanding of the world.

thats the point though. The toyota have many more features than their lexus counterparts. im not sure of the exact years but im somewhat sure that the 2001 lexus ls400 was the first to come out with as many features as the 1989 toyota celsior.
Lexus=featureless moneysponge (only when compared to toyota's though)
it sounds aggressive, its not supposed to.
im just tired

Depends which car it's on. The people who do it to JZZ30 Soarers are dickheads because the Soarer griffin is a shitload better looking. To replace the Toyota "bull-horns" badge, I dunno, it'd be weighing up the rice factor versus the ugly badge factor. Just remove it.

its rice, why do ppl put m3 badges on a 4 door 318i, why do ppl put evo kits on a 2 door lancer. Simple they are obsessed with themselves and others inmage of them. They think they are fully sic and will do anything to try and raise there social status, Yet those ppl that know just shake their head and laugh.
The soarers shit me to come on the car is coming from Japan Lexus does not exist there and the americans never got the SC250 as it would of been called anyway.
Luxury exports to the United States, funny that it was bought from Japan eh.

ok i agree to an extent, but why wouldnt you just get rid of the badging altogether? (or put your own unigue badging on if you must have some)

The soarer that I bought used to have a LEXUS badge on it.
But get this (the best is to come)
Not only did the badge get removed when I'd bought the car...
There's around seven huge drilled holes where the badge USED to be.
I got owned.
Fucking lexus rebadge.

Yeah, for sure.. Gold Plated and all !! LOL
Seriously though, I reckon people take these sorts of things to much to heart...Rebadging a car is a personal thing - same as car modifications in general.... I certainly don't lose any sleep because my next door neighbour has Miata badges on his MX5.
I have even done it on a previous car - I put "Montero" badges on my 94 V6 SWB Pajero... Why.. Because it was different..
