MX13 CORONA HAD A W40 4 SPEED.

.......which can easily substituted with a w50 5 speed.

their bellhousings are interchangable and the tailshaft is the same.

so get a manual bellhousing from a mx13 - mx2X (maybe more) and whack it on a w50 celica 5 speed

Do you have an E series diff?

If so, good luck.

i dont even actually have the car, but if i do end up getting it back (it was my first car), i'd imagine it would be the stock diff. and by the way you're saying it, i'd imagine that's the stock diff.

Different rear housing obviously (rear housing holds 5th gear).

You sure about that dude ?? The only brochure I have for the MS-75 is a 1974 spec and it lists it as a 4 speed ? I though the RA23 and the RT series corona's were the first to get the 5 speeds ?

But yes they will go in ok Smile

Nope. You could definitely get both. Just after many years, reverse shits itself and people discard the car.

about 6 months ago there was 2 x 4 door MX13's for sale up here in townsville.

i bought the diff out of his spare one for $100 - rest of the car went to the dump.

the other one was in top nick - rebuilt 4M , 4 speed for like $400 Smile
