Very slow Acceleration Problem

hi
i've got a problem with my efi engine
it accelerates very slow from dead stop
what causes this problem?
so far i've checked the timing
any advice pls

I believe this is normal for a Hyundai.

engine is not large enough. increase size of engine and test again.
what do you mean a dead stop? is it auto or manual?

Have you driven a twincam excel?
my old 1997 twincam excel did go hard!!
forget the stereotypes, they are fairly OK cars.....
I'd still rather a corolla *cough*

they have pickup.. not guts i mean.. they launch better than a POS Ford/Holden... but they can't keep up... with anything.
DOHC Shopping Trolleys included.
Icky little cars.
remind me too much of my hatred for jellybeans.

This happens all the time...
Kids come out and ask a question without searching...
Get told to bugger off and search, or get given stupid answers that suit the stupid question...
The the new guy has to act tough to defend his honour, by making some smart-ass, threat related reply...
Then they go on to spam the forum with previously answered questions...
And get themselves on probation...
